So we had spent over $5.000 on some living room furniture, and a dinning room set and we are happy with what we bought. But we went back to order 2 more chairs for the dinning room set and found a coffee table and end tables that we liked, we had the car so we couldn't take them that night. I had gone back a few days later with the truck to get the coffee table and the 2 end tables around 7pm and one of the two men sitting behind the counter asked me if l had someone with me to carry the coffee table out, l said no l don't and they wouldn't help me. They lost a sale, and a good customer. We went to the Ashley home store and paid less for the same dinning room chairs, and found a coffee table and end tables

Horrible Oxford Valley Store

Horrible to deal with!!! Ordered a bed in August and 8 weeks later they say the same thing, it'll come next week....that's been going on since last week.

There is nothing you can do about it. They take your money during a 'high pressure' sale then after the sale they don't care about their customers!!! 2 months later - no bed. So frustrating when you call, it doesn't matter Manager at Oxford Valley was no better.

She was supposed to call when she got into the store (at noon) but never did...how do you expect to run a business.

I sent a letter to the CEO but I'm sure nothing will be done...still have no bed

Nobody should ever purchase anything from here...its not worth it! There are so many reliable stores out there, it's got to be better than them.

Inept sales and service

We ordered a bedroom set with adjustable base and mattress Memorial Day weekend. We provided an $1,100.00 deposit and was told delivery would take 3-8 weeks. Nine weeks later we received the initial delivery. The delivery men told us that the adjustable base would not work with the bed we had purchased and recommended we decline delivery which we did. The store manager (who would not speak to me directly) insisted the adjustable base was made for our particular bedroom set and rescheduled delivery for several days later. After the delivery men spent 3 hours at our home assembling the furniture, they concluded that the adjustable base would not work. Again, we declined delivery. The manager finally called me back and said I had three choices; they could deliver a box spring, we could purchase a different bed that would not match the furniture or cancel the order. We cancelled the order. Apparently refund checks are only cut once a month and we were to receive a refund in early to mid-August. I contacted the store (manager still would not get on the call) and was told another mistake was made and the check was not issued and I should expect receipt of my refund at the end of September. If I had used a credit card, rather than a personal check, I would be incurring interest charges. I have contacted the President of the Company and received no response, I have contacted the store to no avail, and finally have lodged a complaint with Better Business Bureau. I would never purchase so much as a picture frame from this store. Buyers Beware!

purchased guardian insurance,with your advice,called about stain that hey never seen,they refused,have called the company at least 4 times girl wont even all me back.will take this further,very upset with mealeys.will never recommend store.my furniture was not cheap. this was not what i thought it would be,very unsatified,and they dont seen to care.

being in business i would never run business this way.want to know what i paid for.why would you tell me not covered if didnt see it.was told covered everything,rip,stains,discolor,i want my money back,or reason there of.very unsatified with mealeys .will make sure everyone i know about how they treat you. will call everyday,this is my money that was spent

I placed an order in April 2018. Still do not have the order. The sales people that helped me are not there anymore. The manager isn’t there and every time I call it’s a new manager. Pretty sure I am on a list now because when I call I can’t even speak with a manager and the girl says the same thing and no one ever calls me back. I would never go to Mealeys again. Pretty sure I will be canceling my order.

Beware!!! Delivery driver stole my Mothers jewerly!!!

Mealeys Furniture is a mess!!! We ordered an adjustable bed frame and mattress Memorial Day Weekend and it wasn't delivered until the end of June.

The delivery driver took 3 rings from my Mothers dresser. The store manager was of no help (Fairless Hill's store). We filed a police report but Mealeys has been very uncooperative. Apparently, since the delivery driver was a third party participant Mealeys says that they have nothing to do with the problem!

But, they are the ones that we made the purchase from and should at least lend support in our quest to have the delivery driver held responsible. Every time that we try to reach someone we run into a wall. For all we know the driver is still out there stealing from the public.

If all of this isn't bad enough the bed does not work! The delivery driver thief didn't put the bed together the proper way (didn't put a big screw in) and the motor has now stopped working.

Mealeys of course doesn't want to help!! Don't buy anything from this company they do not stand behind their products and hire delivery people who steal from the customers!!!

BAIT AND SWITCH

Purchased a desk with a hutch for my wife. The desk that they delivered was from the right manufacturer, but the desk I ordered in the store had drawers on each side. The desk they delivered had NO drawers.

They assured me they would make it right and replace with the proper desk. Nothing but excuses and NO replacement desk as of yet. It was delivered on July 12th.

Delivery of the incorrect desk was a classic case of bait and switch. At first they wanted me to pay an additional $250 for the other desk. After I visited Sam in the store I was told there would be no additional charge.

Also purchased a Whiskey Barrel dining room table with 4 barstools. Barstools were not assembled properly by Mealey's delivery team. Again nothing but promises to have someone come and repair the chairs.

WOULD NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE.

Worst first experience ever! Do not buy from Mealey’s!

WARMINSTER, PENNSYLVANIA -- My boyfriend and I had purchased our furniture from Mealey's around May 13th 2018. We ordered a sofa, love seat and recliner along with a mattress and baseboard. We were told that the order could take up to 3-8 weeks for delivery but to expect it to be here sooner rather than later due to the fact that they have their warehouse stocked frequently. About 3 weeks later my boyfriend decided to call and check the status on our order and the person he had spoken to stated that the sofa, love seat, recliner and mattress were all at the warehouse and that they were just waiting on the baseboard to arrive.

My boyfriend asked if it was possible for them to deliver the living room furniture now and then when the baseboard comes in for them to deliver that along with the mattress. He was told that that was not a problem and he scheduled delivery for the living room pieces. Delivery day my boyfriend and I had both taken off from work to be there for it to arrive, once they arrived we made them aware that the furniture had to be taken into the living room through the garage as we were in the process of redoing our steps.

While watching the movers unload our love seat off of the truck they were not handling it with care whatsoever. When the love seat was brought into our garage the wood underneath was visibly cracked in half so we had to refuse it and put in a claim for a new one. We were told that once the claim was put in that we would get a phone call within a half hour to an hour. To no surprise we never received a phone call.

My boyfriend called them the next day only for them to tell us that they do not have the piece available at the warehouse so we will have to wait until it becomes available. I called the same day and asked for a refund towards the delivery fee as they had damaged the furniture and now we have to wait even longer. It is now 07/02/18 and we have probably made about 10 phone calls if not more for updates on the furniture and it is nothing but a run around about the expectancy of the furniture to get to their warehouse.

We were told once that the mattress was at the warehouse. They were waiting for the baseboard and love seat and that they were most likely on the same truck and it's expected by 6/25-6/26. Then we were told that the mattress also wasn't at the warehouse and then it was again. They really don't seem to care about your frustration when talking to them. They just keep saying that they will keep updating their computers and will let us know if anything changes.

Called again today 7/2 only for them to say that it still was not delivered to the warehouse and it will be a couple more days! For the money we have spent to get our furniture from them I was not expecting this much frustration. I will definitely not be ordering anything from them ever again and will tell as many people I know to not waste their time!

Please be sure to read into reviews before considering purchasing from this company as there are WAY MORE bad reviews than there are good. Buyers aware - if you want your furniture delivered fast with no damage or hassle DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MEALEY'S FURNITURE, especially the one located in Warminster, PA!!!

Purchased a couch on April 29 2018. Was led to believe that it would be delivered that week. Finally 8 weeks later they admitted there was a problem and a store manager agreed to a refund. That was June 22nd. I had paid them CASH on April 29th. It is now AUGUST 20th and I still have not received my money back. I have been several different versions of the run around by employees and the store manager. EXTREMELY POOR customer service and quite frankly they stole my money. I am going to pursue charging the manager and my sales person with theft, There is no way in this day and age a cash refund should take over 2 months. Mealy's in Fairless Hills PA.

Poor Customer Service- Will Never Buy from Here Again

Against all negative reviews, I took a chance and ordered bedroom furniture from this company. When the set arrived, a handle was missing from the drawer on each dresser. The way the dressers are designed, WITHOUT a handle it is very difficult to open the drawer (actually impossible). This was delivered to me 4/30. The driver reported it to customer service who said they would be in touch with me. I waited several days and received no phone call or handles. Made a call to the supervisor who promised to look into it and call back. NOTHING. Called about every two weeks, and not one person in the place knows what the previous person did, but they assure you they will take care of it and call you back. NOTHING. As of Aug 7...still no handles. Each time you call the service reps are rude, and have no knowledge of what needs to be done. I totally wish I could return the set as I am missing the use of two drawers. This was not a cheap set and by far the money was paid in full before delivery, so I am having a hard time understanding why no one in customer service can even bother to follow up....that is their job!. Having worked for a furniture store about 15 years ago, I know that when the sales people are out of the picture, good customer service is the glue to a successful business.....this place does not have what it takes in regards to quality or customer service. Very disappointed at the experience, and still cant use my dressers.

The process of getting the correct color chair.

My husband and I ordered a couch and chair from the Mealeys in Morrestown which was special ordered May 5th . They were delivered the end of June on a Saturday. The chair was the wrong shade of gray than the couch. We called our salesperson David who told us that someone from the customer care center would call us. Someone called us on Monday. I called back on 2 different days that week and spoke to 2 different people who both told me they would check with the warehouse to see if our correct chair was there and was suppose to call me back but never did. I called again on Saturday and spoke to the manager who was finally able to resolve our issue. Then we had to wait for it to be deliverered at an inconvenient day and time for us when it was your error. We have bought about 90 percent of our furniture from Mealeys for the last 35 years when they were on Torresdale Ave and then in Moorestown and never had an issue. We are very disappointed with the very unorganized way this issue was handled. Our salesperson David did not even follow up with us or help knowing we had an issue. My boyfriend and I ordered a sectional from Trisha Yearwood's collection at mealey's in Berwyn, PA on April 6th. We were told if we ordered it in any of the three main fabrics, it would be in stock in 2-6 weeks.

We ordered the grey color from the three shown to us, the on in stock was white. While handing over my credit card, we were told it will actually be up to 12 weeks, but it shouldnt be more than 6 weeks. I was upset, but it was too late and Bob, our salesman, reassured me 6 weeks is more practical. After 6 weeks, we started calling.

First, I was told it was expected in mid-May. I would call when they said it would be in stock, and they would tell me 2 weeks later. Mid-May, end of May, mid-June, end of June, now they are telling me it will be to the warehouse my next Friday, which will be 12 weeks. I do NOT believe any of the dates that they have told me.

I am livid and will be doing everything in my power to prevent others from wasting their time and money. If I do not receive a call next week saying that it is in, I will be going to take my money back and take my business to someone who cares about it.

Mealy's has No Customer Care, Good Faith or Effective Business practices.

Nearly five months since defective tables have been delivered, one of four was fixed and the others have been a joke. The night of delivery the store was called and informed of the problem. They ordered replacement tops, in which the next service tech arrived and stated that thet tops are glued on when built and cannot be repaired. These tables should never have even be prepared to ship!!! Numerous calls were made in fudal attempts to speak to a live voice on too many occassions. Cannot get my money back, they suggested they can reorder!!! The Better Business Bureau has not made any progress in a resolution either. I'm not sure of their purpose...

I purchased a custom couch from Mealeys in Langhorne PA ..it was delivered in August 2017 along with the insurance. Near the end of Jan 2018 my one cushion seat started to come apart at the seam the insurance stated they dont cover it because its manufacture defect.

Then I called Mealeys customer service who deals with the manufacture and I have not yet recieved a new cushion seat and we are in Mid March . No couch that is 4 months old should fall apart and their customer service gives me the round around . So far a manager is suppose to call me back and Iam still waiting for the phone call. They suck ...stay away...everybody.

Dont buy from here!!!

They overprice and provide cheap furniture and sell insurance that REALLY doest cover. I am reporing them and also contacting action 6 news teoublshooters.
