Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire
I will NEVER shop at Mealey's Furniture again. I was a loyal customer and every room in my house contains a Mealey's purchase.
I had purchased a furniture protection plan ONLY because their salesperson (Vincent Davis) told me it was a win-win situation since if I did not use the plan, I would receive a store credit for the full amount to purchase any item from a Mealey's store. I spoke with a customer service rep today (since Mr. Davis is not longer employed at the Berwyn store) and was informed that the plan that was sold to me did not offer the "win-win" option.
I feel if was lied to by a Mealey's employee/representative and they are unwilling to stand behind the information I received.
I have stated that I will not be purchasing anything at Mealey's again, but in researching the company, it appears that they will out-of-business in the next few years. BEWARE OF PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I have been waiting for a call from VP Nicole Dunn and sent her two emails. I was told she does not have a phone number. I was treated so poorly at the Warminster PA store by "doug" the "manager" that

Avoid at all costs. I want something done to right the wrongs.
Ordered a couch/ottoman set at their Warminster, Pennsylvania store. First fishy thing was the fact they had to have me go 45-50 min.
Out of my way to go pick up the ottoman and it couldn’t be shipped with the couch. Fine, whatever. I go get the ottoman in Northeast Philadelphia, bring it back to my apartment, and then the couch comes on a delivery truck about an hour later. First they couldn’t fit through the door.
Then after they got it up into the unit, I noticed the ottoman is a different color darker than the couch. Something I didn’t notice until AFTER the couch came. Photo’s from the show room and my apartment are attached.
THEN they taxed me Philly’s 8% on the ENTIRE ORDER all because I had to go to Philly to pick up the *wrong color* ottoman. Not a fan.
